It looks like a Westie to me and absolutely beautiful. I occasionally look after a Westie by the name of Harry when some friends go on holiday and this picture reminded me of him.

A superb Westie, great little dogs - and very photogenic. You've caught the dog's 'expression' very well.

The only improvement for me would be to see some light in the eyes. My in-laws had westies for years and they always had eyes full of mischief (usually planned or remembered!).

Apart from that, a lovely shot, good detail and nicely composed - click,
