Fire at Night

By LauraD
This pic was taken last year in Africa on holiday. The hotel we were staying had arranged a meal on the beach with only the fire for light.

Any comments appreciated.

To make this black and white takes away everything that makes fire magical to my mind

I think by taking this in B+W you have avoided the obvious cliche bonfire pic. You've also managed to capture the movement of the flames as well as holding on to sharp detail of the wood and surrounding ground.
Click.

Glad to see that some of you like my pic and can see the same vision that I had. Took it in colour as it happens malum but it looked much better in black and white. Thanks for the positive comments, much appreciated!!
