    Thanks for the feedback all, appreciated. The band is actually a trio, the third member being a session musician, hence no lighting and less prominent. The eye make up is part of there look.

    Glad you like my work.

    I use lots of different setups. This one was a SB800 fitted with a lumiquest softbox III above and slightly camera left, I also had an SB600 with a rayman ringflash on camera for fill.

    @ Andrew - your observations are spot on - I did make a concious decision to see more of the horizon line rather than hide it behind the subjects, I was attempting to bring the boys more into context of there surroundings- but as your rightly point out I've also decapitated them. If you knew them maybe it wouldnt be a bad thing!! lol.

  • I have to agree with dionne your portfolio is amazing. Composition and lighting are superb and your PP is spot on. Would love to know how?
