Just as I don't remember when I learned how to swim, I don'r recall when I took my first pictures. I have memories of bulky square shaped cameras that you had to look to from above when taking a photograph. Then I had the chance to have my own Cmena 6 initially with B&W, then with expired east-german color film. I also had to buy the processing equipment and spent nights in the bathroom developing negatives, positives, enlarging and manually compensating for exposure. In the beginning, I took pictures of others, that wanted to be in the picture. Then, I had to take pictures to give certain people the proof that they look pretty. Soon I realized that photography is a wormhole to immortality, and I started to have the special moments when I felt that reality has broken into my soul in an unique shape that is worth to be safeguarded and shared.
