Kereru: New Zealand Woodpigeon.

Hi all,

bit of a break from 3 year old slides Smile

shot i got while home in Dunedin a coupla weeks ago. These are new zealands native wood pigeon and are not found elsewhere. they get pretty massive, maybe some more than 2 times the size of a regular feral pigeon. shot this through a window so its not quite sharp.

Hey'a Leary, thanks for your comment on my pic. I love this one....we are so blessed to have these birds eh. Actually looks pretty sharp to me. So are their many of us here? (kiwi's I mean?)
