I am so pleased I shot this scene in raw, enabling me to get the very best out of this exposure.
Strong sunlight bouncing off the wet autumn trees meant I hat to be very careful with saturation, not wanting it to look too over-cooked! I tried my best to recreate the colours I enjoyed that morning.
Tripod, ND filters, Time Delay used. My wellies helped me get into a great position to take the shot.
I pondered whether or not to clone out the white house on the hillside, as it can pull the eye a little. In the end I decided to leave it alone as it is such a well known landmark.
Anyone got an opinion on this aspect of the photo . . ?
Cheers, Noel
