This is nice! I dunno about everyone else but it gives me the impression he's got a lot of troubles, his sleeves roughly rolled up, holding his jacket, and the apparently never ending staircase, a long day ahead no doubt! Love it - click

I loved the first one and I think I still prefer the landscape version. This works in a very different way - he looks as though he's walking towards a wall, the steps don't seem quite as defined.
From the comments here most people seem to prefer this one, shows how we all look at things differently.

did you ad stairs? looks really good. great composition. how effective this format is, one small interesting object and a lot of space in front of some even texture.

I prefer the landscape picture as a stright image but this one is more powerful.

Powerful in black and white. I love it. The white shirt and the black pants really bite into the graphic image of the steps. Very well done.

I didn't see the original either . I like this one it tells a story . Bent shoulders , looks full of worry on a hot climb ahead . Well done .
