BMX Triplet

By leedsgh
I've reposted this with a simple border, the previous comments made me change my mind!

Nice action sequence, great bit of manipulation.

Find the first BMX a little soft and find the border distracting but the overall image works very well

Hi Gav, I agree about the border and the first BMX, but it's a still a well manipulated shot. click.

As long as you have the camera steady to take the initial 3 shots, all you do is drop all 3 onto a new page in PS. overlay them perfectly and then use the erase tool on each layer to remove the bits that overlap that you dont want.

Peasy!

Gav

PS or should I say..... not tellin....t'secret!

Thanks for the headsup on the re-upload!

Nice action sequence, great bit of manipulation.

Still find the first BMX a little soft (not much to be done with that!) but much happier on the border Smile

I like this as well, how about working on it a bit more and maybe changing the opacity of each BMX? fade the back one, make the middle one a little brighter then leave the first one as it each so rather than looking like 3 guys following each other it might give the imression of movement, if you see what I mean. click

Mick, totally agree.

I tried it to start with, but ran out of time before I went to bed so left them all at 100% opacity.

It takes a little more time as all I needed to do with this version was delete parts I didnt want. If its an opacity deal, Ive gotta put more time in duplicating original layers.

Worth a try once I have time tho. Thanks.

I didn't see the original cos I was still in bed ;o)

It does look a bit like me. Same long and and the body's similar but I don't wear jeans. When I fly through the air it's usually a wakeboard not a bike;o)

The shots good un though. PP works well and you've captured the movement well.

Didnt see the original but click for effort in this, I know how hard action shots are to capture and your manipulation of this works well too. Keep em coming Gav. K.

Nice piece of manipulation. Thanks for letting us in on your secret. OOPs - sorry, I didn't really read it.
