Male Stonechat

Shot this image today after visiting somewhere I generally don't have much luck with... Aylesbeare Common in Devon. Was really after Dartford Warblers, but after a baron couple of hours was glad that this male Stonechat was fairly obliging. Weather was pretty dull and when the sun did make an appearance, it was pretty high up at around lunchtime.

This hasn't compressed as well as I'd hoped. Usual sharpening and levels applied in PS and C1. Cropped to about 70% of full frame.

Grateful of any comments made.

Not managed a shot of one of these yet, saw my first ones last autumn whilst out photographing SE-Owls.
On the list of must get..... Smile

Like the comp, and the perch is spot on.
