Taken at Cley Marshes, Norfolk, UK in April this year.

Technically flawed but haven't managed to get out for what seems ages!!

very nice, clear and colourful. like the twig he's perched on too, gives it a nice composition

Can't really tell at this size but it looks like you got away with the shallow dof to me.

I would try cloning out the oof b/g vegetation, draws the eye a little bit.

Its still a nice image though and if you want to check out a real novice have a look at my last upload.. Lol...
Well and truly blew it..
