Hello! how are you today? Smile

My name is Loren and have been exploring my creative side in photography over the last few years and developing my own style. My photos may not be technically correct, but I love the mysteries and beauty of life, thus using photography (with either minimal digital manipulation or blatantly obvious manipulation) as an art medium to translate what I see. Hope you like them too, comments are always welcome Wink

Thank you all for such kind words, Margaret you can find all the info here http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/ashridge-estate/ Dockey woods is off of Ringshall (a few houses) on the road to Ivinghoe beacon. Think it's on the boarders of Hertfordshire and Bucks/Beds.

Quote:Hello stranger..... had it ear-marked for Friday but the weather is less than promising (aka wet & horrible). I did find some in Epping Forest last week though.

Very magical, Loren, and I hope your one from today makes an appearance. Grin

Yeah 'orrible weather! It's like winter out there! Only good thing is the bluebells are late this year and might last a bit longer (not much) with the chilly winds predicted. Although, saying this weather forecast is as unpredictable as the weather! I guess it's a trek if your not gonna get a wee bit of sunshine to really make the colours stand out but saturday is hopeful? Ask your angels! It worked for me last weekend with my nieces wedding Grin Smile

Oh! You saw my new fb banner...if I remember tomorrow I shall put it up here too Smile Lovely photo by the way of Epping Forest Bluebell Smile

Thank you peeps for your encouraging praise Smile x

Quote:A brilliant image perhaps even better than the previous one! Hauntingly atmospheric...but I can't believe that you not used Photoshop this time!

    Thanks Richard Smile

Did I say I didn't use photoshop? All I did was enhance the colours and the beams which were glorious! Smile

Quote:What a stunning image! So washed out to be almost a water-colour painting! I would never have thought to take a shot like this but I'm very impressed and inspired to have a go!

You do that Richard! Love it when someone feels that bug! Smile

Quote:Excellent texture and manipulation, Loren, but for balance I would have liked to have seen the front tree over to the left.
