A closeup of a woodpecker. Of all the times I decide to have poor timing, it would be when I manged to sneak up on this little guy. The focus was fine, the colors on him were brilliant, and when I click the shutter, he happens to move his head. I'm so irritated. And worse off, this is the best shot I got of him out of the 6 or so I took.

Yeah, I really gotta work on my timing. Thanks for the comment! Maybe one day I can actually catch a bird being a bird...clearly. Lol.

Well, at least you captured him/her ! I've got two visit my garden daily, but I only have to touch the door handle and they are gone !

It was complete luck too! My friend happened to spot it. Snapped six shots, and none really turned out. We weren't really "sneaky" per-say. Just lucky until I pressed that shutter-button.
