Very nicely done Patrick but to me it is such a sad image. Tables and benches like this are made for people to have fun and enjoy each others company. Lots of laughter and noise.

There is no evidence here that this is about to happen or has ever occurred, and with winter approaching (our first frost here this morning) we need cheering up.

Go back and take a couple of bottles of that wine for your campers. Capture some happy faces. That would be better.

And hurry up, if, as you say, we only have 3 billion years!

Hey Phil. You'll have to watch yourself with all this new technology. Can get too much of a hold on a chap!

I refer to your accusation that someone had a very 'Noisy' picture. AND IT WAS TAKEN ON 400 ASA SENSIA FILM.

Keep at it Greg! And thanks!

Specs most definitely should be kept on Liz, if that is how you view the screen normally.

Just relax the eyes to focusing through and behind the screen so that the images merge.

Take in the picture slowly to give it a little time at first. A lot of the complete process occurs within the brain to produce the required third dimension.

    Good luck.

Are we to gather that the size of the trees and the amount of lean gives an indication of the strength of the wind up here? But that would blow the fog away!

You have us up this mountain Patrick, you have to explain!

You have ended up giving it all a very 'Spooky' look Doug which I would guess is entirely appropriate to the subject. Eye-catching!

    Thanks for the comments folks.

Patrick: It seems you also have a Sir Francis Drake Hotel too, complete with Beefeater-costumed doormen. He should be worth a picture or two when you have a moment!

I expect we have a pub over here somewhere that bears his name but nothing else comes to mind.

Well done Canon to show all the advantages of the big sensor and to produce them in the first place.

Hope it persuades Nikon to finally accept they went the wrong way.

I do not want my W/A lenses to be 'Telephotorised' or get more DOF. I want them to do what I bought them for.

I certainly do not what to pay the huge price for the specially computed W/A lens, necessary for the smaller sensor.

Another selfish commercial decision I suppose, and a great shame to spoil a relationship with a company I have enjoyed over many years.
