This is a pano crop from an image I have already uploaded twice, but Dudler suggested trying this when I uploaded the last version and I think he was right. It works this way too. Not sure which I prefer now.

This is the original image and this was my first crop.

A good choice - I think the letterbox format is very much underrated and it works really well here.

The light catching on the shoreline houses and on the snowy tops with the mountainside between in cloud shadow makes for a dramatic and very beautiful image, Sue.
The smoke rising from a few rooftops on the left just happens to be drifting into frame rather than the opposite.......a nice wee final touch.
Beautifully exposed and presented.

A great moment captured, Sue. Beautiful light. I have said it before.....you live in, or near, a most most beautiful countryside.
