A pleasant enough shot but I am wondering how the text relates to it. Maybe you'd like to explain? Smile

. The photograph was taken for my other half, who I have not seen for a while, and the text is a message to her. Sorry it does'nt relate.Dave.

Thanks for the modifications, I'd not thought of making it panoramic. I might give the original image a go, and reload the result. Again thanks to all. Dave.

Hello, David.
A relevant question there from CB. I had done my modifications and uploaded them whilst he was making that comment, so will continue with my critique, but would still be interested in your answer. It looks as if this means something personal to you.

This reminds me of some cards you find in the shops, romantic messages and equally romantic images, that together say a lot. The text does, however, prevent the image from being cropped because it is in the centre. There is also a little bench with two birds resting on it in the bottom right corner, which seem to fit the mood nicely. But the main bird, in the sky, is too central and I could only move it a touch. Cropping to the left would have removed the sunset, cropping to the right would have removed the bench. I did, however, crop just a little from the left, and some from the bottom because the foreground has little of interest upon it. I like the image and the colours, the sweeping clouds and the flying birds. I feel that if you could have moved to the right, the bench would have come more prominently into the image and the sun would have been less close to the edge of the frame. But you might have missed the bird in flight! It would, however, have been beautifully placed against the sun.
In my modification, I lightened the image, darkened the highlights, toned down the white of the sun glare, used a curves adjustment to bring the foreground into silhouette and added a little saturation. In my second modification, I used even more saturation.
Pamela.

Thanks Pamela, the image is 1 of 67 images taken on Tuesday. I will check the others to see if there is more of the bench. Yes the message is personal it's to my new lady friend, I've printed the photo A3, and made a frame to match as a present. I know soppy but at my age I dont care. thanks again, Soppy Dave.
