The intensity in the eyes is brilliant.

bit of a contrived a pose mate.

If i was paying a score an hour, it would be in a real cage fight arena ,knees bent ,splats of emotion and drop those brand new gloves. Its a good commercial shot.

but its not.

Incidentally , how much are you modelliers paying for the ivory flames and such like . Just curios Tongue

Thanks Phil and Dave -
It was just a different lighting idea really Dave - something a bit different - I leave Becky to pose how she wants, then mess about in post.

Re modeling prices, send Dave Collier a message, as he works with Ivory a lot.

Well, imho Andy, thats where a lot of the dynamism in the shots are missing.

You should be directing them , not letting them get into the cliché struts.

With your p.p and control of lighting , you need to sketch out some ideas (locations/placement) and work the ideas further.

Soz for the rant , but you do great images.

I think my last response was a bit nonchalent.
Of the time I had the hall hired for, we allocated a fairly small proportion of time to two fitness sets.
This time was eaten into by hair and makeup, and I didn't have time to get creative with these sets.
That will hopefull become apparent when I do get to be a bit more creative when we shoot some hopefully dynamic fitness later in the summer,
and also by the following set we shot in the hall, which was most definitely not 'fitness'.

Rant on Dave - I enjoy talking about it Smile

Right then ,

Bloody hair and makeup ? What a waste of time, energy and money unless you are going vogue cover or summat for a quick dime fitness / health magazine.

Brief the model , discuss the location , ask/tell her what kit and makeup to wear and have a fun gritty shoot.

The one thing that really pokes my goat is contrived photography Wink
