A helping hand for Barn Owls
This is a shot taken today during an afternoon farm visit. I know there isn't an Owl in the shot but hopefully over time this will change.
During our visit we positioned 2 new Nest Boxes to support Barn Owls, this being one of the Owl Boxes, which is Nest Box Number 3208
This by the way is a new & special project site we have just taken on, the land mass is huge & covers approximately 4500 acres of mixed habitats.
Barn Owls are resident & are commonly seen on a daily basis by the owners & their workforce.
Fingers crossed this becomes an occupied box for breeding Barn Owls.
More boxes to be installed over the next 2 weeks for Little Owl, Tawny Owl, Kestrel including nest boxes for other smaller birds & mammmals.
Thanks for dropping by.
