broken *

By leo_nid
* taken months ago at the local healthcare centre, Moscow, during a visit to my cardiologist

Note: Hi folks, it feels good to be back... thankfully, the eye problem did not get worse.. whether it got better is still a question that remains to be answered...

decided against seeing an eye doctor as Covid-19 infections rates are still high in Moscow, so it wasn't really worth the risk.. just applied some eye drops and ophthalmic ointment from the home first aid kit..

feeling a little happier now, however my time in front of the computer screen must be limited to minimize eye strain, so will you please forgive me if at first i provide fewer and shorter comments ...

and thank you so much for the good wishes..

welcome back Leo......try to dim the computer screen slightly and less contrast.....might help in prolonged fixation on the screen. Also, take frequent breaks from the computer screen. Smile........surprising the Monstera deliciosa (Swiss cheese plant) can survive in Moscow!,,,,,,it is technically a tropical climate plant Smile
p.s. THANKS for your UA on my picture today......either your eyesight has improved or hopefully you might not have a little "cloudy" vision in your judgement SmileSmile

One of my favourite plants, I love the sculptural look it has, which you have emphasised in this shot.
Welcome back.

A clever image, Leo, juxtaposing the organic shapes of the plant against the geometric shapes of the light. I hope your recovery continues well.
Best wishes, Allan

Was just wondering at the weekend how you were, good to see you back, Leo 😃👍 Had one of these Swiss Cheese plants for years, but it eventually died on me 😟 A fine viewpoint and capture 😃
Take care, and look after those eyes 👀

Good to have you back, Leo. I did notice you missing as no videos or cartoons to brighten the viewing. If you are using Windows 10 the "Night Light" can be a handy, giving you a lower brightness to your monitor screen with a slight blueness to it. Your plant almost looks like metalwork with its sharpness and metallic looking sheen.
