octopuses's dance

By leontari
The octopuses's hanging in the sun, is a process before cooking on the grill. They remain hanging at least two days. Maybe you will say " oh, the poor octopus" but believe me they are very tasty.

Thank you for your votes and coments. Really it is an unusual sight, but not for us. It's something that happens all over coastal areas in the my country during the summer.

It's cruel, but I love to hunt and eat them, a very good sight for me. Well taken shot!

It was one of the few times I saw so many hanging octopuses. Thank you nonur for your positive comment.

I buy Octopus when ever I can get it! blanched baby Octopus is great with olive bread, also in a casserole, but best of all I like to pickle it for snacks! Brilliant, good photo like it, regards Leon.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Providing it is cooked right it certainly is tasty, but I do find that it can be like chewing rubber tyres if incorrectly prepared Grin Carol

Love this shot. Now I want to be sitting by the sea with a glass of ouzo...
