Passion Flower Zoom

By LexEquine
This is my cropped image rendering from a macro capture of a brilliant Passion Flower taken at the Botanical Garden in Richmond, Virginia in September 2006. My camera used is the vintage 5 MP 2002 Minolta A1, which was my first digital camera, and, luckily I still possess it in my arsenal. Hope you like it...Settings: Av f 4.0 ISO 100 ss 1/125 second focal length 88 mm

A beautiful passion flower center--- sadly we do not have this in our garden-- the lily does not smell so great-- it is an onion/allium

Appreciate your kind comments, Hugh, Les, Jenn, Debu, & Gary. After viewing my image, I think that the color saturation level that I chose was a "litte too high." What do you think?? I still hope that the EPZ members think that it is a suitable & catchy macro with my 5 MP cam. But, if I had to do it over again, I would "lessen" the color sat level. Well, oh, & learn. Many thanks, again, for your comments and looking. Hope that everyone's week is going well, & keep on clickin'. Regards...Peter

Certainly can't miss seeing this!! Great macro shot but agree with your earlier comment, perhaps just a little oversaturated!

This is a great close-up with lots of clear detail.
For me I would prefer to see the whole flower. It is one of the most beautiful flowers available in Britain to photograph. I would like to see it in all its glory.
You really got some wonderful details in this close-up macro of the passion flower.
