Ok, so blog number two... not sure how successful these are going to be but he who does not try..... and all that jazz....

I have spent many an hour looking through shots in the photography gallery thinking, now thats a cool shot, i like that angle, wow that detail is superb... bla bla... and one subject that on occasion i find quite fascinating is flowers..

Never been overly keen on flowers around the house, they are pretty, but they always die Sad i am for sure not green fingered like my grandparents lol. However they are beautiful to look at.

So with all the dull weather of late, i thought, well sod it. Go out, buy some flowers and snap to your hearts content. Into the shop i walk, and hands up, the first thing is said was "excuse my ignorance, i know nothing of flowers! i'll have one of those, and in orange and bright pink too... umm and a lilly thing". I am sure the woman must have thought i was mad, so i preceded to babble about photography, weather, bored, try something new. I honestly think she thought i was loopy and quickly took payment!

Home i go, flowers in hand.. and the rest was down to window, tripod and camera and lots and lots of photos... i think they worked out ok though Smile

Be nice to know what you think... being a novice and all!!!

Lianna, i think you have done remarkably well, such vibrancy. I do the same during some of the winter months when wildlife is at its low.. straight down to the florist and buy some lovely flowers, i think you have an eye for this.
