I came across these Hereford cattle enjoying the sunshine in a field in County Monaghan a few Sundays ago

A tough looking character, but its a great shot. Someone once told me that you should never try to race a bull uphill, he will always win. Going downhill is a different matter. He's got short front legs and is likely to fall over LOL

Looks like a pink rocker to me! Nicely composed and the highlights are not blown out either.

could have safely got close to this old placid breed but don't try it with the modern continental breeds as they are often headcases. lovely image - a shot I would never have seen. Funny how you miss the obvious isn't it
