Sorry to all on here...that like myself do NOT like spiders!!
This is the world's largest spider..Goliath Bird Eater
11 inches across and can weigh over 6.0 oz

And I photographed it...did three very fast shoots of three images each time
was not going to get complete better of me...
this is on mirrored glass...and no one was going to clean it...Blush
and nor am I.... I personally think it adds to the photo ...reality
hand held...toilet close byWink

you get the idea...I was scared!!
V2 on an apple thanks, you can have it
he could of jumped at any time This is from his rear end

glad you liked the silly sunday shot

Amazing! V1 is excellent Lillian, you are much braver than meSad And V2 has the OMG factor. I dread to think what it would've done if a call had come through, especially if it was on vibrate!Sad

Superb shots. Love what you've done with V1. They're quite harmless to humans but as Ron says above, it's the hairs that are the problem. Oh, and they have enormous fangs but they won't bite us. Smile

Brilliant Lillian.
Actually I am one of those annoying people that likes spiders. Hard working creatures. I am chief spider catcher at home, if one puts its nose? in, I am called(actually more like shrieks than calls) like the film " Ghostbusters". A tumbler and a sheet of paper and then out into the wilds of my next door neighbour's garden. Hee hee!
This is the best portrait of a spider I have ever seen. Really great.

My goodness, I hope I never see one of these. I seen a tarantula once (it was very big) just sitting on the ground. Scared the living daylights out of me. And this is even bigger! Very well captured in both versions.
