What a delight to see these Camargue stallions galloping around with such gay abandon in this natural setting for them, Lillian.
And what a superb shot, the action completely frozen at 1/800 but surprised you had too up the ISO so much to achieve that shutter speed, but as ever, your Canon has coped admirably.
Ronnie.

What a wonderful comp' Lillian, lovely lighting with the dark threatening Sky as a back drop. A truly amazing picture, and I have a feeling that this series is going to be just awesome.
Please don't feel that you have to thank me for my award every time Lillian, as I'm sure that over the coming Weeks, you will be receiving MANY from me
Well done,
John

Hi Lillian
I left a comment before, however, it seems to have mysteriously disappeared!
After seeing yesterday's image, I didn't think you could come up with a better one. What did you do? Come out with a better one!
This is just amazing! You are one extremely good and talented photographer, Lillian!
I find it strange that your images don't receive E's or HC's. IMHO, a number of them deserve to!!!
Enjoy what's left of Easter, and get well soon!!!
Take care!
Cheers

Hi Lillian this is an awesome wild life photograph. But I have problems understanding how a photograph like this gets 25 UAs and is only awarded a GEA. This is not a digital manipulated plastic lady bird or a wolf in captivity entered in the wild life section of EPZ, I see things like that get GEAs with some of the other rubbish and Crap. My question is, what chance does any genuine photograph have of getting an Editors award when I think the members have spoken in no uncertain terms. Must we give up photography and start manipulating silly images of rubbish to be able to get a higher award than a UA or is the criteria for the award system also being manipulated like the so called photographs. I am a little disappointed in the whole system Lillian and am thinking of throwing my Camera in the bin and purchasing a new computer and a copy oy Photo Shop so I can give EPZ some quality manipulated work and achieve at least a GEA, as I see no point in taking real photographs????

Well that didn't take the editor long, Maybe I opened up a can of worms and that is a guilt award. But whatever Lillian dam right you received the proper recognition at last. Now the rest of the awards for the other rubbish can maybe given to REAL photographers not software freaks. Congratulations Lillian its a stunning photograph

OK Officially the awards Queen, and very well deserved I might add, the thing that makes this image stand out for me is the drama created by the the movement, the fact that you have caught eye contact with each animal and the dramatic contrast between horse, sea and that threatening cloud. Superb in every aspect and a well deserved E award, something only us mere mortals can ever dream about.

Hi Lillian. I totally love your pictures of the Camargue horses but maybe this one the best - HMmmmm. Maybe.
I love horses and we just had a fantastic week in the Camargue.
We only went bird watching and did not see any horses or bulls although December is probably not the best time but what a fantastic place - even in winter.
Your portfolio is lovely. You are very talented.
