Long Eared Owl

By Lillian
Looking startled...no looking for Vince!

does not like Vince, as this owl nursers all the young that have been abandoned
and bought in for help, then when well enough to leave and be released again
along comes Vince...and takes them away from him!! and he is back to square one!...so Vince tries to stay out of sight
on photo days..but!! he was spotted there..just look at that look
Taken at the Barn Owl Centre Gloucester

Glad you liked the Barn Owl, and thanks
to Graham, Kathryn, Ju and Steve for your awards
very much appreciated

A wonderful image Lillian, and superb autumn colours. I would be temped to see how it looks if you just cropped a bit off the top to reduce the amount of lighter coloured sky. With that gone the saturated autumn colours are everywhere around the main subject of the owl and your eyes just focus in on the owls's mesmerising eyes, without the slight "distraction" of the lighter sky. Either way its a lovely and very endearing image GrinGrinGrin
