What a capture, very good indeed. Was this animal in captivity or photographed in the wild? Either way, a winner.

I would love to say I caught her in the wild, however I photographed her at the British Wildlife Centre last week.

Well done Linda - an image that captures the beauty of the cat itself, as well as the natural instinct of the wildcat with its prey. It's the little things, like the claws on the chick's toes, that make this such a good image for me ... oh, and the fact that I'm a lover of anything feline!

Brilliant. I've got a chicken in the oven and this has made me look forward to it even more Smile Well done

Great capture Linda even though it made me cringe a little. How was your day at the centre? I'm very interested as we are booking a photographer day there soon.

Hi Denise

I had a brilliant day there. The foxes were wonderful, you'll see what I mean when you get there. I was thrilled to see an adder sunning itself and also saw a baby adder.
It makes you appreciate the diversity of wildlife we have in the UK. The people who run it are very helpful and knowledgeable, you'll have a great time. Plus it was well sign posted which was good for someone like me who is directionally challenged!
