Great portrait, shows the Springer's character so fully.
Thank you, he came along with his brother who is a Yorkshire Terrier, I think I managed to get about two shots of them together- phew!

I have never laughed so mush as when I tried shooting 2 dogs.

My screen is pretty bright and I am seeing a a bit of grey as opposed to black under the paws.

Roy
Hi Roy, can't see the grey so I printed it out and it's seems black?
I wonder if anyone else can see what you mean. I don't really want to fiddle with my screen you see - thanks for telling me though Roy x

Lovely dog portrait, it's a shame it's overexposed causing burn out on the chest though. I'm guessing you used flash here but even if you didn't the color white is always so difficult to expose for correctly. With all subjects containing white it's a good idea to deliberately underexpose by 1 to 2 stops, shooting in RAW as you have here will allow you to correct overexposure but no format will retrieve lost detail from burnt out highlights, not a criticism, merely trying to help,
Geoff.
Thanks Geoff, I appreciate your comments and help Smile
