Commit No Nuisance

By LinH
This is the Welsh Bridge In Shropshire's county town of Shrewsbury with the River Severn flowing under the arches. It was completed in 1795 from Grinshill sandstone and connects Frankwell to the town centre. It is a Grade ll listed building. Carved in the stone on one of the parapets is 'Commit No Nuisance' , an archaic injunction not to urinate in public!
