Punk with Bling

One of the few images I have had printed and now hangs in our lounge room. Taken in 2015, the image is a seed pod from a geranium after the flower has died back. Not all geraniums seem to have these long pods. Once the pod dries out it splits open and these tiny feathery hairs open out. I wanted water drops and the problem is once water hits the feathery hairs the whole thing closes up, just like a fan, so there are only a few seconds to get the shot. I had only three of these pods and destroyed the first two. This one worked :o)))
