It would be easy to focus on the quirky aspect of this and overlook the great set up and lighting. Well worth the effort, terrific shot.

A fascinating and frustrating shot. I hate it when I can't work out exactly what's been done [and why!].

I suppose there are several things that unsettle me - the degree of post-processing (which works well for the stylisation), then in combination with that there's something about the elements in the shot (particularly the chandelier) that just don't seem 'right'. Added to all that there's the 'wrong' angle of the thing, which even if it's only a few degrees, I'm sure is deliberate.

I like this, I don't get it either. But semiotics are not my strong point. I like it though. The overprocess works for me too.
