Black-veined White (Aporia crataegi)

By livinglevels
Black-veined White (Aporia crataegi) drying out its wings after heavy overnight rain on the Col de Fillys in the French Alps.

The Cols is at approx 1450m. This specimen was in a long grass meadow at the top of the Col. Judging from the transparency of the wings (through scale loss), this female is relatively old.
