Inspirational light

By livinglevels
Shafts of light punching through the clouds last weekend at Ham Wall.

This is another one of the sequence taken in the unseasonably cold weather. The plan was to photograph bitterns, hence the unusual choice of lens for landscape work!

It may be an unconventional landscape lens, but telephoto's compress detail well and is much more appropriate for sun rays. A shot to enjoy with very good composition, lots of detail, a pleasing colour palette and those special sun rays.
