Just visiting

I have to admit I cheated a bit and placed this obliging ladybird on the Pulsatilla. I had to snap quickly before she flew off, no tasty aphids on this colourful flower.

I have tried using a spotlight to focus attention on the ladybird and central part of the flower. I think it works, what do you think?

Thank you all for comments, votes and advice. They are very welcome.

Well, she stayed there long enough for you to capture her sitting there in this very pretty flower: and such a beautiful floral image and presentation, even had there been no ladybird, Liz.

Focusing is superb, and a woman after my own heart, I keep 'having' to place ladybirds!

Needs must sometimes Liz Smile I am surprised that he was not gone again before you could take the shot. They do not sit still for long. The addition of the Ladybird gives the image a nice mixture of colour, but personally i think without it the image is still beatiful, lovely colour on the flower and DOF.
