think the gloves one worked beter - more punch (crap pun intended) although the enlarged fitst at the front has impact, in a photographic sense, as with those sholders theres gona be no power
do you have a speed ball ? those shots with blured hands look quite cool

A quick response, cool (and thanks)

Danny: It's a straight right from an orthodox stance. Hopefully the power is in the hip. Plus I didn't want to punch my camera ;o)

There was some sweaty ones Dan, however with two second exposures, you never know exactly what you are going to get. Some are horrible and blurry and some capture the moment. I took about 40 shots and picked the ones that looked the most menacing.

well Rab, the movement adds impact to the pic . like it click

Thanks for the mod Luke. I didn't consider B&W for these shots as I wanted to have reds in the shots, red being a subconscious sign of danger. The lighting was balanced towards warm colours and the two second exposure has added a lot of tungsten casting from modelling light of the flash.

However I do like the B&W version and it reminds me a little of the moody B&W images of Bruce Lee one of which was used on the cover of his book The Tao of Jeet Kune Do

Excellent concept carried off very well.. What I think would work even better would be if your face was 100% crisp, but the arms / fists were the only things in motion blur.

No probs Malcolm, it's not compulsory to like it. I thought the picture of me sacrificing virgins might have been too extreme or a Friday morning ;o)

Gav: I reckon I could do that but I would probably would have to manipulate the image and I wanted to do the effect in camera.

The long exposure holding the head completely still might have made it look a bit stiff and static.

It's funny Mark, I have put up images depicting something violent before but they've had little response. I guess that many see them as psychologically negative images and are therefore not drawn to them. I must admit I expected maybe 8-10 clicks on this but it's been more popular than I thought.

EDIT: I just thought. The violent images I have posted in the past, I've marked them as adult. Maybe people we just disappointed that there were no boobs on show ;o)
