Stalker & Seaweed

By sut68
Last one from this shoot - honest!!! This is the same shot as yesterdays but this time in glorious unalduterated, unpopular mono LOL!!! [Rob you won't get to see the full colour orig - sorry].

Let me know if you prefer the 'straight' mono to the 'bleached' effect I have been trying hard to develop.

All comments +/- welcome.

Thanks for stopping by to look.

Paul

Not much in it for me between the two. Both great images in their own right. I know that probably does not help much.... Wink

Cheers Jouko, and Mark - doesn't matter which as long as you like them IMHO. I prefer the bleached version myself ... JUST!!!

think I prefer this one Paul as the other lacks (for me) tonal range and colour - just a personal preference Smile

Between the two, I prefer yesterdays but they are both good in their own way.

I'm with Pete and Ian on this one Paul.. Definately better in mono than 'bleached'.

Love that foreground seaweed.

Okay, okay, I'll bow down to public opinion, but I do like the bleached version. If you guys prefer this version though, then I will stick to mono in future [mostly ;-p].

Cheers for your comments guys & gals!!!

A rich and moody image, all the better for being in black and white, nice one.

I actually prefer the colour, but only because the foreground seems to lack punch. I hope you don't mind but I tried a slightly different mono treatment.

Thanks Tony, Debbie and Dave.

Luke - me too, cheers for the mod though, bit too contrasty - even for me, but thanks anyway.

Cheers Cole, much apppreciated.

Agree with you Tom, against public opinion though - that said, this hasn't got anywhere near the number of clicks and responses as the bleached version - been viewed as much though ... mmmm!!!

Looks fantastic here, but if I really had to choose, I would pick the bleached version. It does make a wonderful B&W image though in it's own right.

Well done - great interpretation, usually see this as a sunset silhouette, top marks for an original approach,
