  • Thanks for your help I'm going to try and sort things out today, I still have my old pc but I think the processors gone, I was thinking about putting the hard disc into the new pc but not too sure if that will solve the problem or even will it be compatable thet are both Evesham machines, alo there could be a warranty issue too,
    cheers again

  • I put the latest version from the Sony connect website for the NW HD5 player

  • I've just bought a new PC and I cannot tranfer my music from my Sony HD walkman because it was transfered originally from another PC. I can see why this happens as to stop people sharing but does anyone know of a way around this as I dont really fancy loading all the CD again onto the new PC
    thanks

  • A few months agoI was looking at getting a G6 to replace our S1IS but now I'm getting around to it it has been discontinued. Is the S3 IS worth getting or any suggestions. We use a 20D as the main camera so we're looking for something to carry around.
    Cheers

  • I've been away on holiday and came home to cold and miserable weather but was cheered up when I saw that I was first out! I emailed my details earlier today

  • I'm about to buy a new macro lens for my 20D and was going to get the Canon EF 100 mm f/2.8 but I thought I'd ask about the EFS 60mm before deciding what to get.
I know the 100mm is highly recommended, has anyone any cooments on the 60mm?
    Thanks
    Pete
  • I have had the 300D and now use the 20D and much prefer the 20D - better feel and more control. I have also found as mattw states the quality of the lens has much to do with it

  • Got hold of my Dads Metz ct1 45- forgot that he had it, uses it with his Pentax - charging up the batteries as I type, will try it out later
    Thanks for the help

  • Gemm, you're right about the shutter speed - too slow. They were OK but not quite right, as you said a faster lens would have given a better result but not as much detail because of the distance grom the stage.

  • I've taken some shots at a rehersal and I'm not entirely happy with the shots so its make my mind up time!
550EX or 60-70 more for the newer 580EX- anymore advice on the two?
    Cheers again
    Pete
  • Thanks for your advice. I think what I'll do first is go to a rehersal and take some shots with the 17-85 IS and the 75-300IS lenses to see how they come out first.
    Cheers

  • I've been meaning to buy a flash for my 20d for a while and now I've been asked to take some photographs for my wifes secondary school musical the time is here. Any suggestions, I would prefer to keep all my gear as canon.
    thanks

  • A friend of mine bought on 9/12 and had it back last week.

  • I'm sure this must have been covered before but can anyone PLEASE recommend any programs/downloads to stop the increasing numbers of pop up ads when online

  • Just wodering if anyone has bought any gear from Ebuyer.com(UK Branch) and if so what type of warranties do you get and are they a reliable retailer?
    Cheers
    Pete
  • Cheers Tim, it seems most of us check all the forums!
I could pass the 300D onto my wife and ask her to pay half towards the 20D- worth a try!
    Pete
  • My wife currently uses a Canon PowerShot S1 IS and is not happy with its low light performance and the annoying lens cap.
Doing a bit of research she quite fancies the G6 - anybody have any advice on the possible change?

    Cheers
