excellent macro,with a well filled frame....did you use extension tubes?would really like to know the details of how you got this shot, i use 50/105/180 macro lenses on dsr's 300d/20d

This really caught my eye. Excellent colour and detail. A great capture. Reminds me I should get outdoors and make more use of my macro lens..!

Excellent macro shot of the ladybird Pete. The detail and body colours are terrific. I am not too sure about the background colour, it doesn't look like it's natural surroundings, although it does isolate the subject well. Was it a green tinted glass table top or something similar? Good work.

Yes, a very clear close up, and the colours contrast well. I can even see down into the hose.

An excellent shot with very good detail. I would have preferred a more natural looking background, but the ladybird obviously was happy where he was lol.
