Windermere Mists

By lobsterboy
So, I can breath a sigh of relief. After it's dunk in Windermere my Camera has finally dried out and seems to have survived the experience without much more than some missing paint. Unfortunately my LEE filters did not survive the fall so well, so its cost me a filter holder and 2 new grads!

Anyway here is one of my shots from the misty early mornings on the jetty at Ambleside.

Comments, critiques and mods welcome.

Good news.

Im not sure about that background colour. I like the shot. You used a good colour temp, though it still seems slightly cooler than the temp would suggest.

Did a quick mod, and its very slightly warmer; I reduced the clarity slider to make it more misty, and cropped space from the bottom.

Nice shot though.

Love the high key effect Chris, sets off the craft. Sturdy camera's these days Wink My award.

I think the mauve colour detracts from this beautiful image.

That's such a beautiful shot. I think it's one of those images that can be processed in a yriad of different ways and still work.
