An excellent monochrome portrait. This works so well. The expression and framing focus and 'connect' the viewer.
I was always wondering what is the use of nose piercing rings. Your image helped me realise it. They are there so the one wearing them halves the chances of picking their nose.

Coming back to this one, Chris. The simplicity appeals more and more, the lack of distractions. The lighting is used to emphasize her facial structure.
