Light At The End?

I'm grateful to those who voted, commented or very kindly gave their awards to One Last Look (pms sent).
This picture was taken on my phone some time ago, and squirreled away for a seemingly appropriate moment, and now might be that time, given the very hopeful news of a vaccine.
I took the scene in this intriguing old corridor, then processed it to exaggerate the darkness leading towards light at the end.The converging rays of light seemed to indicate the inexorable direction of travel, which will bring us out to the sun again.
It looked starker in mono, so I further tweaked it in Silver Efex, and gave a very slight blue tone, to emphasise the cold light of day; to underscore that reality sometimes qualifies expectations.

An interesting image, with the darkness leading into the light. Could be a reflection on the state of the country at present, better times ahead? Good processing, with nice tones, Allan.

This well worked mono image has an air of mystery to it - what is at the end of the corridor? Good work Allan.

Well seen and presented image, Allan. The gradual progress from dark shadow to light (which will reveal...........what? we can only guess) is excellently done, and the stark b&w conversion suits the idea behind the image.
