At first glance i thought this was an infra-red image but on closer inspection I see it's a well seen subject very well photographed and processed.

Although in black and white, this reminds me of when I used pastels in Art School. There's a delicacy of touch and I love the highlights of the white branches, especially against the dark trunks.
