Garden Goldie

By Louise_Morris
Another one from the flock of Goldfinches that visit the garden. Certain they have had a second brood and we now have up to about 50 visiting - costing me a small fortune in sunflower hearts & nyger seed!!
Thanks for the votes & comments on yesterdays Robin - much appreciated as always but special thanks have to go to Fred (Badgerfred) for his generous UA. Thank you so very much Fred.

Take care, Lou

Lovely! Those red leaves in the BG complement this nicely!

I used to have a whole flock too Lou, but most of them have disappeared Sad. Is this from your hide then? Certainly a close clear shot. Moira

We too had continual visits from a mob some while back but I have not seen them for some while. This is a lovely shot and a reminder of how beautiful the bird is.
