D-O-F experiment

Was sat on a park bench, I thought I'd test out my 150 EX sigma to see how the shallow DOF would work.
Not something I'd normally do, Use the lens for sport mainly (99% of the time it works fine) but it isn't what is made for so struggles on occasions.

Looking at the EXIF data, the camera was set at f5.6 - although the lens if f2.8

I'd agree the subject isn't the most interesting in the world, truth be known I was trying to find a greenfly! (not recommended to look for something as small moving so quick on something so big)

Anyway, I doubt there is much you can do by way of modifications (it is a picture of nothing after all) but hey if you'd like to offer a comment feel free
