EPZ Meet Maggie!

By Lou_Pink
Hey guys,

I promised to introduce you all to our newest family member and tada here is maggie, now obviously when you see these photos you will realise that they were not taken for photographic merit, they are just snaps of our pet, but I wanted my EPZ family to meet my puppy! I would appreciate any hints and tips on taking some good shots of her, especially as she is getting so big already and she's not quite three months old!! Anyway I hope you like her as much as we do, and thanks for all the comments on my last few uploads, its great to be back amongst you all Grin

Lou xx

PS I know there are a lot of shots, but please do flick quickly through them, I guarantee that some of them will make you smile Grin

V3 and V5 (without the TV!) stand out from the crowd for one simple reason, - and its key to taking good dog shots, - you were down at the same level as the dog.

If you focus on this approach you will get super results like these two.

she's adorable !! i love the basket and that last one what a lovely series of shots

not a tip but you get to know your dogs habbits and movements while out , like when they'll turn which way and where they will jump , which side they run or look at you when called mid stride , you'll get to know and predict which really helps capturing them outdoors

of course there is plent of times they'll surprise you as well lol

Loaded a mod of V3 with a suggestion for a crop that improves the composition.

Thanks Willie, that really does make such a difference to the shot, I am going to crop this shot the way you have done before I print any pictures, and I know what you mean about getting down to her level, although most other shots where i have done this have resulted in a hoto of her hurtling towards me lol, thanks for the advice and mod, really appreciate it Grin

Oh Lou! I can see why you mum loves him! So cute and gorgeous. I am threatened with redudancy in the New Year and if that happens I think I will have new pup - don't want to take a dog on unless I am at home - been along while since my two collies died - time for a new member!

Lovely captures. Sweet memories.

Just dawned on me why I didnt seeMaggie,I was looking at your show case page,,Doh.
A brilliant set,
The one with the tree would have been a winner apart fom Maggie being out of focus.No,1 is so cute, looks like she smuged the lippie when applying it,lol. No 5 is so cute, but seven would be brilliant if it had been head on.
No,2 lower angle for this would have helped.
Theres a model in the making here and great fun getting her to pose.
Best of luck with her,

she is adorable so beautiful - our neighbours have a boxer called Bambi the best natured dog......these are great shots of a loved family member p.s. thank you for your comment on Eaton Park you are so right the sky was like that all day....
