The pose and setting works for me. I'm not familiar with the effect you produced for your face and other part of your body. it's a love or hate stuff Lou. Above all, you're a pretty woman.

Hi Lou

An unusual piece of art - I have looked at it and am not sure what I make of it. I come from a more conventional background but there is something inside of me that wants to produce work like this.

I like the way that you the lighting has managed to show the texture and richness of the sofa/ I like the way my eyes go straight to your eyes - stunning eyes and expression.

I am not sure I like the bright spots of light on the knees, arms, face etc. It seems to make the picture a bit 'disjointed' but then that may be the very technique that gives it a bit of edge. I am a hung jury on that aspect.

Oh and i do like the boot!

Am looking forward to seeing what else you show us here.

The colours are working really well in this. I'm wondering if your right leg should have been tucked in with your left? Your body looks a bit disjointed, as if you are uncomfortable.

Hi guys, crikey its only been up a few minutes, I'm very new to all this, and for the most part I prefer doing landscapes, but decided to bite the bullet and get in front of the camera, and truth be told I've just been playing about with Corel Photoshop until i get an effect that I like, I was never really a fan of photo manipulation, but in this case it purely is for artistic or creative reasons, and for a bit of fun. Its easier being in front of the camera when I take on another persona, and I intend to develop my character in different scenarios, and hope to learn and improve every step of the way, so all your help guidance and critique is gladly welcomed

I like what you are trying to achieve, but feel you should let the character be the star and just use photoshop for finishing, well done anyway and keep em coming.

Hi louise,
If you like dressing up and having your pic taken, then there is a website that could use your talents.
deviant art.com, use the search bar for models fullbody, a lot of artists use the images to do some fantastic manipulations.

Hi Louise,

This is a very eyecatching shot. I love your pose and whilst your knees are evry bright, my eyes are drawn to your face and stunning eyes. The post processing that you have undertajen is certainly unique and I've not seen anything quite like this before, so hats off (or is boots) to you for creating something so original. That's a hard feat to pull off on this site!!!

Regards,

David

I like the self portrait best. Also not sure about the knees being blown out and around the face, but the effect you have is different and I really like this. I am looking forward to seeing more of your work. And from one new member to another .....welcome to epz. More of you in self portraits would be nice as you attractive and different.
