Digitally manipulated in PS, used the atherize plug in after i smudged, smoothed and softened and adjusted brightness and contrast plus changed colour to sepia.

comments welcome although i know this image may not be to everyones taste, just experimenting really.

I like the effect Lou, but I think it may work better in B+W, as far asimproving yor portraits, I think you will be a little limited by thinks like lighting, maybe having a go at some side lighting from a window, or even using lamps, just make sure your white balance is set right and have a play.

Nice departure from the norm Lou, full marks for a classy experiment. If you have another bash why not keep the eyes selected and sharp, that would give it some extra impact?
