Terminator

By Lourens_Vorster
My son Paul with a water gun in the Garden
This is one of my best ever candid images, I didn't do anything to it, straight out of camera. It was just like magic.

Taking in account the type of photo, it probably won't get lots of votes, but I thought I stick it up for comments and advice or critique.

Thanks for looking and voting

First, you cna't put a price on a picture like this. You and your wife will treasure it for ever.

A fraction of minus exposure compensation would have made it technically more perfect, and kept more tone in Paul's cheek - if you had a RAW file, you might be able to pull it back a fraction.

Overall, though, worth a good few votes. He's wonderful!

Thanks John
You are right, priceless for the parents. He is also the reason I don't post photos of his mum anymore, lol.
I only recently started to take raw format aswell as jpeg on camera, I don't know much about it yet and will have to research that part next, get software to use it as I'm still on an old PaintshopPro V2 I think.
Also might have to look at calibrating PC screen for better editing results

Thanks for advice
