This is top class. Painterly, yes, and you've got the textures just right.
If I was nitpicking, I'd maybe crop it slightly from the top to place the flower slightly higher in the frame, which I think marginally improves the balance.
I like how you've cropped the petals... nicely judged.

Bottom line... bloody lovely. Have an award.
