It's good to see those commuters read almost in all the shots, Al! Well taken and converted, as always!

That luggage trolley suggests a much more interesting journey than he's getting.

At this rate it will be St. luceombra .

Once again you keep on producing really out standing work capturing the moment in time to perfection.

Well done Luceombra

Your work is inspirational.

Further comment to the above.........questions really.

How do you get such beautiful images......I have just Googled your camera, and was amazed to learn that it is a discontinued Samsung NV 3 ......7 Mpx with just a 3 x zoom.....incredible.

What are your usual setting please? .....or.....are they a secret?

Re comment above: Goes to show the art of photography is in the photographer, not the camera!
This is a handsome example!

No secrets at all.

This is not my usual camera. I have a Nikon D2X that I rarely use. I mostly use a Canon G12 while travelling, but this time I forgot it in my office, so I picked up the one of my son (The Nikon is to heavy to carry).
I rarely use zoom for candids, in order to have a better depth of field. In some cases I do crop the image to obtain the results I like more.
I (quite) never use flash and I usually work on manual, adjusting the exposition to the available light conditions.
In the end I must say that I rarely save more than 30-35% of the shot I take (most of them are too blurred or too badly composed or simply not as I intended them to be).
I only process the ones I like of course Smile

I'm enjoying this series of images of commuters, but I'm starting to get depressed as they remind me of commuting into London every day from Cambridge back in the 90's. But you know what they say about photography - if it hurts then it must be working (at least, I think that's what they say). Grin
