Think I like this one best Luke, maybe crop the bottom of the shot & give it longer than 30 secs to give a bit more light & some interesting movement in the boats. If you play around with levels in PS, you can keep the orange colours, but deepen the blacks. I've got one earlier in my pf of the bridge in Bedford, which is lit with green lights & makes a good contrast with the orange, i adjusted the levels in that one.

Don't worry, its a good shot and well taken. One problem is that on darker shots different monitors show the image skewed, even to the darker side. Its not your problem, it is so hard to adjust shots to compensate for the various monitors in use, I know I have tired. Spot on! Click!!!

yea that's a big problem I have, my monitor's very bright and show images brighter than on many others which I didn't realise until realise. I've been printing these off for my university application portfolio so I've just left them as I adjusted them for that.
